Together
Against Violence
Citizens Against Family Violence is an independent, non-profit
agency which has a 501c3 designation from the Internal Revenue
Service. We were formed and received our State Corporation
Commission effective May 21, 1981. Our service area includes
Martinsville, Henry and Patrick Counties. We are funded through
government grants and allocations, non-government grants, United
Way, individual contributions, friendships, fundraising by the
Board of Directors, counseling for court ordered batterers,
advertising in our newsletter and on-going support from local
churches. We appreciate all the local support we receive from
our service area.
